This group practices Zen Meditation in the style of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, as taught at San Francisco Zen Center for over 50 years. We are an informal meeting of friends who sit for 30 minutes and then read one of Suzuki Roshi’s talks together. The group is led by Ren Bunce, a priest in the Suzuki Roshi lineage.

If you usually sit on a zafu, please bring it along. The meeting place has plenty of chairs. If you have a copy of  Zen Mind Beginner's Mind please bring that too, as that's the book we're currently reading together.   Newcomers or experienced meditators - all are welcome.

I do appreciate donations to help make the rent, but there is no charge for this meeting.
